Dental plans in the marketplace today are too numerous and varied to allow us to know the details of them. Your particular dental plan may or may not cover the full extent of the costs you incur for your dental treatment. This can occur as the fees in our office are based on factors which may not have been considered when your dental plan came into effect. Furthermore, there may be certain procedures performed that are not covered through your dental plan. These factors are beyond our control.
The particular plan that you have is a contract between you and the company providing benefits. The fees and payment for treatment are your responsibility as the patient or guardian. It may be to your advantage to have a predetermination of benefits completed prior to surgery in order that you may better understand what your insurance plan covers. We will assist you as much as possible in completing the dental claim forms.
